Product Description

MasterSil 707FR-NV is a one component, high performance RTV silicone that is mainly used for its flame retardancy. It passes UL testing with a flame classification for 94V-1 for thicknesses of 0.75 mm and 1.5 mm, and 94V-0 for a 3mm thickness. It adheres well to a wide variety of substrates including glass, metals and many plastics. The rapidity of the cure depends on the thickness of the layer and the humidity; the thicker the layer the slower the cure. It is exceptionally soft with superb elasticity and flexibility, and outstanding electrical insulation properties. Most importantly, it is non-corrosive, fast setting, and has a paste like consistency. MasterSil 707FR-NV is serviceable over the broad temperature range of -45°C to +105°C, as per UL specifications, and is gray in color.
