Product Description

MasterSil 415 is a one component acetoxy type, high performance silicone for bonding and sealing. It has a paste consistency and a non-drip application feature. MasterSil 415 is special in that it has excellent optical clarity along with superior non-yellowing properties. Also noteworthy is its low temperature serviceability; the range being from -185°F to +400°F. It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates such as glass, metals, many plastics, composites and various rubber materials including silicone. It is a faster curing system, although the speed is dependent on the thickness of the layer and the level of humidity. As a one part silicone, it has superb elasticity and flexibility. Also, it is a reliable electrical insulator. MasterSil 415 can be used in a wide variety of applications, particularly when silicone type flexibility along with low temperature serviceability and/or transparency are desirable.
