Product Description

MasterSil 705 is a ready to use, one component, high performance silicone elastomer compound for bonding, sealing, coating and formed-in-place-gaskets. It is a very low corrosive, “neutral-type” curing system. It is a non-flowing paste system that bonds well to a wide variety of substrates. The rate of cure depends upon the level of humidity and the thickness of the layer. The higher the humidity the faster the cure and thinner sections cure more rapidly than thicker ones. MasterSil 705 has a reasonable tack free time, as noted below. The service temperature range is -75°F to +450°F. Its color is translucent. It can be used in many different general industrial type applications, including automotive, HVAC, electronics, mechanical devices.
