Product Description

Master Bond MasterSil 155 is a two component, electrically conductive silicone compound for high performance bonding, sealing and coating. The electrically conductive filler material is graphite. MasterSil 155 is an addition cured system that does not require air for cross linking. The mix ratio is a very convenient one to one by weight. It has a paste consistency with a very long working life of 8 hours for a 100 gram mass. Upon curing, MasterSil 155 offers good physical strength properties combining excellent flexibility and high temperature resistance. Its conductivity is most useful, for grounding, static dissipation and EMI/RFI applications. Since this silicone can cure in thicker sections, it can be used for gasketing applications as well.

The system bonds reasonably well to most substrates such as metals, plastics and many rubbers, including silicone rubber. As expected, it performs well when subjected to rigorous thermal cycling and shock. MasterSil 155 does quite well in resisting humidity, water and general environmental conditions. Both Parts A and B are black. The service temperature range is -85°F to +400°F. MasterSil 155 is primarily used for shielding and protection against electrical or other kinds of interference as outlined above.
