Product Description

Master Bond EP51AN is a two component, thermally conductive, electrically insulating epoxy system with a convenient one to one mix ratio by weight or volume. It cures readily in ambient temperatures in about 24 hours. It contains no solvents or diluents. EP51AN has exceptionally low shrinkage, and after it polymerizes, the cured epoxy has superior dimensional stability.

This system bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, and many plastics. As indicated in the chart below it has good thermal conductivity while retaining solid electrical insulation properties. It is noteworthy that EP51AN is cryogenically serviceable. The temperature range extends from 4K to +250°F. Additionally, it resists water, oils, fuels, and many cleaning agents. The combination of fast curing and good thermal conductivity allows this compound to be considered in electrical, electronic, electro-optic, and specialty OEM applications.
