Product Description

Master Bond EP3HTFL is a one part system that offers easy processing along with excellent physical strength and adhesive properties. It is a true one part system, not premixed and frozen, and can be stored either at room temperature or in a refrigerator. The system does, however, require oven curing with a minimum temperature of 250°F. As noted in the table, it cures rapidly at 250°F and even more quickly at 300°F. In essence, it has an unlimited working life at room temperature. Also, it is a toughened or slightly flexibilized system. This allows the system to withstand rigorous thermal cycling and shock.

EP3HTFL bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including glass, metals, composites, ceramics and many plastics. It has good chemical resistance to water, oils, fuels and hydraulic fluids. EP3HTFL is a good thermal and electrical insulator. The color of EP3HTFL is tan to brown. Its service temperature range is -80°F to +350°F. This epoxy system is useful in aerospace, electronic, electrical and specialty OEM applications, particularly when bonding dissimilar substrates that are subjected to thermal cycling and shock.
