Product Description

Master Bond EP35SP is a two component epoxy system specially formulated to resist high temperatures and aggressive chemicals. This paste viscosity material has an easy to use 100 to 50 mix ratio by weight. It will not cure at room temperature and has an extremely long working life of 24 to 48 hours. The recommended cure schedule is 1 hour at 110°C, followed by 2 to 3 hours at 125-150°C, with a post cure at 175°C for 2 to 3 hours. The epoxy has minimal flow and shrinkage upon curing.

It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, glass and many plastics. It holds up well to prolonged exposure to water, oils, acids, bases and solvents, even at elevated temperatures. Its physical strength properties and electrical insulation values are particularly robust. The color of Part A is gray, and Part B is amber. The service temperature range is -80°F to +550°F. EP35SP can be considered in downhole, aerospace, electronics, optical and specialty OEM applications, especially when a high temperature resistant, structural type adhesive or sealant is required.

Product Advantages

  • Very long open time
  • Paste viscosity, little to no flow when curing
  • Dimensionally stable
  • Especially resistant to petrochemicals
  • Retains physical strength properties under adverse conditions
