Product Description

Master Bond EP3HT-LO is a one part system that combines easy processing with excellent bonding and physical strength properties. This moderate viscosity system is easy to use and does not require any mixing. It cures by heating at 250°F for 20-30 minutes, or at +300°F for 5-10 minutes. To optimize properties, use one of these cure options followed by a heat cure of 250 to 300°F for 1 to 3 hours. It should be emphasized that this is not a premixed and frozen system. It therefore follows that its working life is unlimited and it will not cure until heated in the manner described below. EP3HT-LO contains no solvents or diluents and has low shrinkage upon curing.

It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including glass, metals, ceramics and most plastics and has superb physical strength properties. EP3HT-LO also offers good electrical insulation properties. The service temperature is -60°F to +400°F. EP3HT-LO possesses superior chemical resistance to water, oils, fuels, acids and bases.

The color of EP3HT-LO is brown to tan. This low outgassing epoxy can be used in the manufacturing and production of optical, electronics, aerospace and other industries where easy, no mix processing, fast curing and high performance are desirable attributes.
